Who we are

epfoportal.com is an independent informational website. We are not connected to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation, the Ministry of Labour and Employment, or any government body. We do not handle EPF transactions and have no access to anyone’s UAN or PF data.

What we collect

Information you share with us. If you write to us through the Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and the message. This is used only to reply to you. We do not add these details to any marketing list.

Information collected automatically. When you visit a page, our hosting provider records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type, device type, the page visited, the referring page, and the timestamp. This is used to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are read most.

Cookies and analytics. This site may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to count visits and see which pages help readers. Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of the site.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and never collect your UAN, PF account number, Aadhaar number, PAN, bank details, password, OTP, or any financial information. No page on this site requires you to log in or share EPFO credentials. If a page ever appears to ask for these, close the tab and report it through the Contact page.

Advertising

We do not currently run advertisements. In the future, we may display ads through a network such as Google AdSense. If that happens, this page will be updated before any ads go live. Third-party ad networks may set their own cookies. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google’s Ads Settings or at youradchoices.com.

How long we keep your information

Messages sent through the Contact page are kept only as long as needed to handle your query. Server logs are typically retained for 30 to 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information. The only exceptions are the hosting and analytics providers that process this data on our behalf under their own privacy terms, and any disclosure required by law.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the Contact page and we will action it within a reasonable time, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
